In the summer of 1984, as experienced many times before, Banana Moon had a line-up change. In comes Robert Sharkey on keyboards/vocals, and at that being a competent composer, arranger, songwriter, producer, and all around nice guy. He really took the group, and combined forces Milne, Walker, and Ringas. As he joined the group and started rehearsing new material, they immediately headed into the studio

This time round, they went for a slightly different approach, taking more time in the studio, adding more instruments, more orchestrations, and with a few lighted hearted tunes amongst the epic intrumentals. And at that, all the while having a good time recording, in the spring of 1985 Banana Moon’s second album, ‘Old Oak Tree’ came to fruition.
